Southport behind in time
It’s time someone at the Atkinson checked their watch and realise their clock hasn’t been changed!
Daylight savings time has well and truly kicked in and while everybody else is now an hour ahead, the Atkinson Clock remains 60 minutes behind.
This is because of a staffing issue meaning the only person who has control over the timing mechanism is actually on holiday, meaning it won’t be fixed until tomorrow at the earliest.
A fantastic advert for a town which many say, is already well behind the times as it is.
