Southport Astronomical Society Telescope Night

Do you have a telescope and are unsure how to use it or what you can see with it? Are you thinking about buying a telescope but aren’t sure what kind or if getting one is a good idea? There are many different kinds of telescope and knowing which one is best for you will make all the difference to your enjoyment.

On Thursday 18th November Southport Astronomical Society will be holding a telescope night to answer all your questions.

Members of the society will bring along some telescopes for you to have a look at, explain their differences and if clear to look through to see what they can do.

If you want to find out more, the talk begins at 7.30 pm at Scarisbrick Bowling Club, 1a Falkland Road, Southport. PR8 6LG.

New members are always welcome, and if you want to join membership is £15 for a year (or £7.50 for under 16’s.)
