Sunday 28h June Local Veterans from SSAFA Sefton (The Armed Forces Charity) based at RAF Woodvale are preparing to hold 2020 Armed Forces Day event at the Town Hall (Princess Diana Memorial Gardens) in front of the Southport Town Hall.
Starting the event off with a Drumhead Service at 11:00 am in the Town Hall Gardens (Princess Diana memorial Gardens)
Parade starting at 11:30 am on Chapel Street. Taking the salute at Southport Town Hall.
There will be modern and vintage military vehicles in front of the Atkinson Centre and on Lord Street plus Army, Air and Sea cadets. There will be lots going on including vintage live music and living history group displays. You are welcome to come down in your vintage uniform or vintage civilian dress.

Armed Forces recruitment stands along with equipment they bring along.

All Veterans and Standard Bearers are welcome including any in wheelchairs & scooters. If you have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces regulars and reservists of all ages can take part in the parade. No need to be part of an ex services organisation to take part in the parade.
