A new college specialising in Engineering, Health & Social Care and Childcare for students leaving year nine and starting year ten will be opened by Southport College in September 2015. Southport College will now join a growing number of FE colleges across the country graded good or outstanding by Ofsted who have extended their offer to 14-16 year olds.

Students will study a specialist work-related qualification in Engineering, Health & Social Care or Childcare, core GCSEs of English, maths, science and ICT and optional GCSEs from a broad choice of subjects. This combination is designed to give students a head start in their chosen industry and successful students are guaranteed a place at Southport College on an advanced level course when they finish their 2 year courses.

You can now register your interest in the college and book a place at the information evening on Thursday 4 December at 6.30pm by clicking this link: http://tinyurl.com/ku65t9n
