Snooker legends Rocket Ronnie and Jimmy White in Southport
Both Ronnie O’Sullivan and Jimmy White were spotted in Southport last weekend at the Les Dodd Snooker Centre on Princes Street.
Ronnie and Jimmy both required the expertise of local Professional Less Dodd who is also a good friend of the two snooker legends.
Les said: “It’s not often I retip cues on a Sunday but suppose you have to make exceptions sometimes for old friends.”
“He wanted some coaching but I couldn’t be bothered anything I would have told him would have been wasted.”
“One hour before the world number one arrived I was in the company of the new slimline “Whirlwind ” – it’s a special thing for me to retip two ” LEGENDS “cues in 1 day.”
