Southport have completed the loan signing of 21-year-old defender Dominic Smith from Shrewsbury Town, initially until January 2nd.
Dominic has made 31 League One appearances for the Shrews, also appearing in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup, as well as making 6 appearances in The National League while on loan at Barrow last season.
After signing his first professional contract in 2014, Dominic went on loan to Tamworth making 23 league appearances in the National League North.
Shrewsbury-born Smith is eligible for Wales through his grandparents, and has represented the Welsh national side at U19 and U21 level.
