Small business Saturday – 2nd December

15th November 2017

In the next few weeks, Damien will be supporting small businesses across Southport as they prepare for Small Business Saturday 2017.

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.

The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.

On Small Business Saturday, customers across the U.K go out and support all types of small businesses, online, in offices and in stores, many of whom take part in the day by hosting events and offering discounts on their services and/or products.

From the Cheese Centre in Birkdale Village to the Churchtown Deli, or the Master Barber’s Shop on Lord Street, there is a great variety of small businesses you can help to support this year.

So, when you’re out and about in Southport on 2nd December, please purchase something local and give your support to our fantastic local businesses, who are at the heart of our local community.
