A signal fault at Southport station is causing major disruption on the Southport to Hunts Cross line.
The disruption began at approximately 11.30 this morning.
All services between Southport and Hillside are currently suspended, with a rail replacement service in operation.
All trains on the Hunts Cross line will temporarily start and terminate at Hillside.
Services are expected to resume this afternoon.
