Shed fire at rear of Southport property

Firefighters were called to a fire in a timber shed at the rear of a property on Lytham Road in Southport just before 3.10am on Friday, November 4.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 3am and crews were alerted at 3.02am. They were on scene at 3.09am.

Two fire engines attended the incident, which involved a large timber shed on fire.

Crews used a two high-pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The shed and contents were destroyed by fire. No-one was injured.

Firefighters remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
