Woman critically ill – Man arrested on suspicion of class A drug supply

The 47-year-old man arrested in relation on suspicion of Class A drug supply has been bailed for further enquiries.

The 44-year-old woman remains critical and her condition will be further assessed this morning.

 

Woman critically ill – Man arrested on suspicion of class A drug supply

Merseyside Police can confirm they are today, Sunday 3 July, at a property on Bridge Street, Southport.

Officers were called at 7pm yesterday (Saturday), to reports of concerns for the safety of a 44 year-old female.

The female was taken to hospital after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest and today remains in a critical condition.

A 47 year-old male was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and remains in custody.

A search of the property on Bridge Street is ongoing today.
