Sefton’s Scrooge Council leaves Ainsdale residents with over-flowing bins at Christmas

25th December 2015

Residents left with no waste collection at Christmas, as promised!

Residents in a Sandbrook Road area were dismayed to discover that bins and bottles etc have not been collected as promised by Sefton Council.

Although the main road had been collected, this cul-de-sac was clearly missed out.

An angry resident quoted:

“Stickers on bins and advice on the council website clearly stated that bins etc were due to be collected on 24th December. We all left them out as advised yet it’s now Xmas Day and we are all stuck with rubbish overflowing.”

Who is supposed to be running this pitiable council?

So what went wrong and how long do residents have to wait before the bins are emptied this Christmas?
