Sefton Council Library Review Update

As part the ongoing Transformation Programme, Sefton Library Service are seeking views regarding the shape of Sefton Council and included in this is a review of its Library Service.

Extensive engagement is taking place to seek the views of the public, service users and all key stakeholders. Primarily, this first stage will close on 31st July 2012. The views from this, together with information about the Library Service and the local community will be used as part of a report for Councillors to consider options for further consultation later in the year.

A wide range of methods are being used including 2 questionnaires – one for library users and one for library non-users. Sefton Library are particularly keen to obtain the views of those who do not use Sefton’s Library Service and would like to encourage both your organisations’ staff and service users to fill it in.

To complete either of these questionnaires go to Sefton Council’s Consultation Finder page, which can be found by clicking here. Paper copies and specialist formats of the questionnaires can be provided on request. Please contact Tricia Evers on 934 3610 or email for further information on this.
