Sefton Council leave grey bins uncollected at hottest time of year

28th July 2019

Last week saw some of the hottest temperatures yet Sefton Council failed to pick up grey bins in parts of Ainsdale.

One annoyed homeowner told OTS News: “It was so hot last week and they missed the Thursday collection in our road. Thankfully it’s cooler today (Sunday) but we do not want rats, smells and flies with all the waste in the road hanging about”.

Several concerned residents have apparently contacted the appropriate Sefton helpline yet received no solid assurances of when the rotting waste will be picked up.
