Sefton Council approve plans for a new car park in Southport

A former location of an iconic Southport restaurant is set for a new use as a car park.

Sefton Council has now approved plans to convert the former Ronnie’s Bistro located behind the Southport Little Theatre.

The plans were submitted by Southport Little Theatre and will hold 11 cars and two motorbikes.

Two concrete bollards would need to be removed for vehicles to gain access the site from Hoghton Street.

The plans will see a new roof installed and also include the addition of a new pedestrian door to be provided near to the vehicle entrance.
