A scam alert has been issued to businesses who may have been asked to buy tickets for a workshop in Southport.

Sefton Council say they have been made aware of a scam whereby local companies are invited to buy tickets for a business event held at the Dunes Leisure Centre.

However upon investigation no meeting has been booked in and the council have been quick to distance themselves from organisers ‘National Promotions.’

OTS understands multiple businesses had been cold called to invite them to attend the sessions but only after they had paid via a link to access exclusive tickets.
