Beauty salons, tanning shops and tattooists can reopen in Southport from Monday, the government has confirmed.
Fitness buffs must wait a little longer however for gyms and indoor swimming pools to open, with them only allowed to let customers return later this month.
Outdoor arts performances – such as music sets at the Band Stand – will also be able to resume from this weekend, although audience numbers will be restricted and will be subject to social distancing rules.
Club cricket can also resume from this Saturday, with a limited number of spectators allowed and clubhouse bars will be able to open, subject to social distancing rules.
