Sainsbury’s Burglar sees window of opportunity

Police are hunting a supermarket burglar who made a daring escape after being caught by staff dangling out of a shop window, Thursday 8 November 2018.

The as yet unidentified man had broken into Sainsbury’s Local on Liverpool Road and was spotted making his escape by staff just before 6am this morning.

He managed to get free and make off with bottles of gin before police could get to the scene.
