S.E.R.T transfer male with head injuries to Southport hospital

S.E.R.T  Incident log 2am (16/10/2016)

Whilst out on patrol on Lord Street, Southport attending the homeless giving them food water bedding and pillows. We was approached by a male and female in some distress, on first glance we could see the male had an injury to his head and that the female was shirtless.

As we carry clothes in our response car we gave a shirt to the female and dressed the males wound which was 2.5 inches deep open wound which he sustained to his head.

Once we stabilised the situation we transferred the couple to Southport A&E.

The male remains in hospital and undergoing treatment.
