Emergency services are currently dealing with a two car collision on Roe Lane bridge.
Paramedics are treating the occupants of both cars at the scene for injuries after a head on collision shortly after 4.30pm this afternoon.
Both lanes are blocked with emergency services and police asking motorists to avoid the area at all costs to avoid long delays.
One car suffered serious damage and is expected to be written off.
There are not thought to be any life threatening injuries received OTS News understands.
Traffic is being diverted through Sussex Road and Cambridge Road.
