RTC Scarisbrick New Road Southport
The emergency services were called to Scarisbrick New Road, Southport, at 1:00pm this afternoon (Saturday 7th February 2015) following reports of a RTC.
A Ford Focus crashed into a metal road sign outside the Richmond Pub along Scarisbrick New Road after the rear nearside tyre burst forcing the car to crash.
The driver was treated at the roadside for minor injuries.
There were no other vehicles involved and no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Police diverted traffic around the accident scene until the obstructing vehicle was removed from the scene.
