The emergency service were to the Coastal Road this morning shortly after 8.30am, Thursday 17 December 2015
Two collided appoaching the Liverpool Road traffic lights.
Two Fire appliance attended the scene and they had to cut the driver of one of the vehicles free from his car. The injured were treated at the scene then transferred to Southport Hospital.
Southbound traffic had to be diverted down Pinfold Lane until the carriageway was cleared.
