Firefighters were called out to two crashes in the space of eight minutes.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 2.25pm on Monday, June 18, to Glenpark Drive, Southport, after a car struck a garage.
When firefighters arrived they found no-one was trapped in the car and the garage, made of prefabricated concrete panels was still standing.
The rear of the garage was demolished by the car but the rest of the structure was left standing. The car had also driven through the front timber doors of the garage.
A woman, who had been in the car, was escorted out of the vehicle by paramedics by 2.55pm. It is understood she refused hospital treatment.
An appliance from Formby Community Fire Station and the Incident Management Team attended the call-out.
The Search and Rescue Team, based at Croxteth Community Fire Station, and an appliance from Bootle and Netherton Community Fire Station also responded to the call-out.
