RTC Biker injured Waterloo Road Southport (otsnews.tv)

The emergency services were called to Waterloo Road following a 999 call shortly after 4.20pm, Friday 4 December 2015.

A rider who was traveling with two others going north bound towards Southport collided with a vehicle turning from Arundel Road.

A number of vehicles stopped to help the injured rider. A member of the public wearing a Storm consultancy jacked was praised for is efforts in directing traffic around the scene.

A paramedic rapid response vehicle arrived around 15 minutes after the collision followed by police a short time later.

The rider was helped to his feet and transferred to Southport hospital a short time later, his injuries are not thought to be serious.
