Round table sorry for cancelling fireworks

Southport Hesketh Round Table have announced that they will not be putting on their popular annual charity fireworks and bonfire this year.

The event located at Victoria Park, has been one of Southport’s biggest and best bonfire event for more than 10 years, raising tens of thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes.

Chairman Dan Hubbard said: “Unfortunately this year we have to make the very difficult decision not to go ahead with the event.”
