Rotten Row Judging Day for North West in Bloom

Yesterday (Tuesday 13 July) was a special day for Friends of Rotten Row as they took part in the North West in Bloom competition.

Brian Quinn said: “We are looking forward to the results which will be announced in October at The NWiB celebration dinner.

We hope to do as good as, if not better than last year. The Judges were very impressed with the displays along the borders of Rotten Row but gave nothing away as to their findings.

“As one lady commented on passing” – “you should all be in the Queens honours list for what you do”

“We can live and dream but the volunteers are more than happy in what we do in maintaining the borders and keep everyone guessing as top what we will do next.”
