Flames takeaway boss was fined over £1,300 after “congealed blood deposits” and the owner failed to comply with food safety standards.

Flames, on Eastbank Street, was given a 0* rating by Sefton Council food hygiene inspectors in May, and was fined £640 and £664 in court costs.

Mr Faruk Aydogan appeared before Magistrates on (Wednesday January 20) and pleaded guilty to failing to keep food premises clean and maintained in a good repair and condition, and for not keeping the equipment food came into contact with correctly cleaned and disinfected to prevent infection.
