Rosebank Care Home for Learning Disabilities To Perform Michael Jackson’s Thriller on London BIG stage’

8th April 2019

Rosebank Care Home is searching for amazing dancers from those who might have learning disabilities or autism. Rosebank Care Home is forming a special dance troop that will ‘wow’ the audience at a prestigious celebrity care awards event in London in November. However Rosebank needs dancers or anyone who is interested in being part of this amazing project.

Dancers will perform the legendary Michael Jackson spooky ‘Thriller’ performance of ghouls and zombies that made MJ such an 80s and 90 hit legend.

The project is the brain child of Jonathan Cunningham owner of Rosebank Care Home. I wanted to created an event that includes a wide cross section of people with learning disabilities. Our lovely residents at Rosebank Care Home love dancing and I felt there is no better way but to reach out to the wider LD community.

The dance troop will be mentored and choreographed by Mich Mimms who is a famous Michael Jackson Dancer and seen more recently on ITVs Take Me Out.  Mich said ‘This is a fabulous project and very much looking forward to working with this dance troop’

If you would like to be involved in this project and dance on stage at a large care awards event then email Jonathan on jonathan@stormconsultancyuk.com or phone 07733338398. No previous dance experience is required just desire to be part of an amazing event. A date and location will be selected in Southport for the first workshop in May 2019.

Let’s create something truly amazing – if you know someone with learning disabilities or autism and loves to dance then tell them to get in touch.
