ROAD CLOSURE | Church Street, Southport
Diversions are in place on Church Street this week as the road is resurfaced.
Contractors Dowhigh working on behalf of Sefton Council are relaying the carriageway after complaints that the surface is a patchwork quilt of messy tarmac.
It’s thought the works are going ahead now while the college is closed for the summer holidays.
Diversions will take drivers down Mornington Road while the resurfacing is done.
Contractors on site told OTS News that the works may take longer than a week to complete depending on weather
