More and more people in Southport are banding together to fight any bids to frack near the town.
Protest groups set up to tell companies like Aurora energy to ‘frag off’ are steadily becoming bigger and bigger as they push to secure Southport as a frack free zone.
Protesters say they cannot believe anyone can really believe fracking is sensible just to bring down gas bills.
One protester emailed OTS News saying “I have visited the proposed site on the Sefton/West Lancashire border and although clear of immediate houses, it is very close to villages and near to Formby, Southport, Maghull and Ormskirk.”
