Residents urged to avoid Marine Way Bridge and the Promenade this evening – traffic congestion expected

Yesterday evening residents reported one hour delays around the promenade area due to the road closures.

Large queues of traffic built up on the Marine Way Bridge and the Promenade as the Marine Drive is now closed between the Pier and Pleasureland.

A resident said:

“I was stuck in traffic for over one hour, the traffic light sequence has not been changed at the end of Marine Way Bridge, this is not helping”.
