The list below is all of the players who have played for the club for whom we don’t have either a place of birth or date of birth. Can you help track them down?
Geoff Wilde had proudly maintained a list of all the Football League players to have turned out in a Southport shirt and that list is complete.
I am left with the 148 Non League players listed below to make the all time FL and NL list complete.
The passing of Geoff has spurred me on to ensure I maintain his legacy and having the records complete.
We appreciate a number of people will have a bit more time on their hands at the moment and now may be an ideal time to launch this project. Some may be easier to trace than others but it would be fantastic if we could fill in as many of the blanks as possible so even one record being filled in will help.
