Real life Rockys’ hailed by their pupils as selfless teachers

Two real life Rockys’ have been hailed by their pupils as selfless teachers.

Southport Elite ABC Boxing coaches John and Paul have been hailed as ‘great role models’ for taking the time to teach the club’s volunteers the art of boxing – leaving the would be students feeling empowered, safer and fitter.

And it is all done completely voluntarily fitted in between the duos busy schedules – much to the admiration of student Simon Diamond.

Simon gushed: “ABC is a great place for young people and all ages from all walks of life to channel their aggression and frustration through the art of self defense/ boxing and fitness whilst at the same time to meet new people and build upon their existing skills and gain new ones.

“I feel that this would be a great opportunity for John and Paul to be recognized and rewarded for their sterling effort, sacrifice and dedication to helping others reach their fitness goals and to encourage new members to come along.”
