Louie and Tanya Gaffney have obtained Play Town with help from the RBS Funding for Lending Scheme
Southport entrepreneurs Louie and Tanya Gaffney have acquired Play Town, in a deal backed by the ‘RBS’ (Royal Bank of Scotland).
RBS supported the acquisition with a fee-free loan from the Government backed Funding for Lending Scheme.
The scheme has been specifically designed to offer more support to small firms by making borrowing more affordable.
Under the scheme businesses can take advantage of loans with lower interest rates and no arrangement fees.
Louie Gaffney said “Since taking over the business we have focused entirely on trying to improve the quality of the facilities and service for our guests.”
Jan Charnock, relationship manager at RBS, added “I am thrilled that Louis and Tanya have been able to acquire Play Town and that our support has enabled them to get the venture off to a flying start.”
