Furious homeowners on a busy town centre street have condemned filthy shopkeepers who have dumped their rubbish outside their homes.
Piles of industrial equipment, signage, fixtures and fittings have been dumped along with mouldy and sodden sheets on Hulme Street in Southport.
The festering rubbish is already attracting rats and other vermin much to the disgust of those who live on the street.
One resident, Colin Williams, sent this photo to OTS News, adding “it appeared overnight and we know exactly who dumped it. Their shop signage and fixtures are there for all to see.
“I’ve complained to the council and they have said they’ll come to shift it but there are some disgusting people out there who think it’s ok to dump their mess and make it someone else’s problem.”
