The owners of a rare jade coloured duck are spitting feathers after it disappeared from their back garden in an apparent theft.
The Cayuga mallard and it’s eggs were swiped from the back garden of a house in Hart Street but the owners have ruled out a fox attack with no signs of a struggle.
The are hoping the bird has flown away and will return but the disappearance of its eggs has raised serious suspicions that it may have been stolen.
