Raise the Woof’ Rueters Bar & Grill
Rachel Kennedy will soon be flying high and skydiving 7,000ft in support of Merseyside Dogs Home.
The International Events Management student will also be hosting ‘Raise the Woof’ at Rueters Bar & Grill on Thursday 14th June 2018 to raise money for the rescue centre.
“As part of my degree, I’ve been incredibly lucky to work on some fantastic events but one event that was particularly memorable was Dog Mania, which was Merseyside Dogs Home’s first indoor event.
Aside from gaining plenty of experience, I also saw how passionate the staff and volunteers were and how much Merseyside Dogs Home has not only helped their rescue dogs, but the adopters too.”
Merseyside Dogs Home receives no government funding and relies heavily on the generosity of the public and their fundraising events, including the annual Bark in the Park weekend event.
‘Raise the Woof’ will have plenty on offer for everyone including music from Southport’s singing sensation, Hayley Murray, as well as a raffle for prizes including an Afternoon Tea for Two at Broadoaks Country House Hotel.
