    Rail staff racially abused on board Merseyrail train – Merseyside

    Do you know who this man is? 

    Officers investigating a racially aggravated public order incident on board a Merseyrail train, are looking to identify him in connection.

    The incident happened at approximately 9.40pm on 27 October on a train between Sandhills and Bootle Oriel Road.

    A member of rail staff had challenged a customer is relation to his behaviour, he then became abusive, he also targeted the member of railway staff with a racial slur.

    Officers believe the man in this image may have information which could help them investigate. If you know who he is, contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling ‪0800 40 50 40‬ quoting reference 587 of 27/10/2019.
