    R.I.P Keith Redmond (Southport)

    By 11th January 2016

A bright star can only shine for so long…

It is with deep sadness to announce that local legend Keith Redmond passed away on the 8th January surrounded by his close family at the young age of 63 years. He defied the doctors living out his 3 months prognosis six times over when diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in May 2014. A true fighter in everything he did in life he always stayed positive when times were tough.

An amazing Husband, Dad, Brother, Grandad, Uncle and friend to everyone in Southport we are all honoured to have had him in our life. Having run K Redmond Plumbing & Heating for over 35 years this is now in the safe hands of son Karl and nephew Daniel.

ots-rip-flowers-southport-ots-onthespot-ots-otsnews.co_.uk_0Keith has always spent his life putting everyone before himself nothing was too much trouble. He was an honorary member and President of the Southport & Hesketh Round Table for many years devoting his energy and time to Charity.

The details of his funeral will be announced along with donations to research and find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
