Solicitors in Southport, Formby and West Lancashire have teamed up with Queenscourt and are giving their time to write a standard Will or amend an existing one in return for a donation to the Hospice.
Have you been putting off making or updating your Will? It’s a fact that over 70% of the UK population don’t have a Will, even though it may be one of the most important documents you’ll ever write.
‘Make a Will Month’ is an invaluable opportunity to help protect your family’s future. All you have to do is make an appointment with one of the participating solicitors any time between the 1st and 30th of April. The solicitor will not charge you for their time but will invite you to make a suggested donation to Queenscourt of £90 for a basic single Will or £135 for a joint Will or £40 if you require an existing Will changing.
Carolyn Gorman, Fundraiser at Queenscourt Hospice said “We are delighted to once again have the support of so many local solicitors for this campaign. Having a Will professionally written is such an important thing to do and the only way to make sure that your wishes are carried out after you die. This is a great opportunity and anyone taking part in Make a Will Month will enjoy the added feel-good factor of knowing they have also helped their local hospice.
This is the second year running that solicitors have teamed up with us for the campaign and in 2014 between them they managed to raise a magnificent £14,000 helping over 100 people with their Wills”.
