Pub staff give back to beautiful Churchtown village

1st November 2020

A pub in Churchtown is doing their bit to make the area look a little brighter in these troubled times.

The Hesketh Arms, Churchtown, have took to the sponge and fairy liquid to scrub away dirt and grime from vital road signs in the area.

Seemingly left to deteriorate by authorities, these grimy road signs have been transformed by the hard work of the team at the Hesketh Arms.

Despite the tier 3 covid restrictions likely to cause economic harm on our local pubs, the Hesketh Arms have not allowed this economic misery to crush their spirit.

Residents in Churchtown are grateful for this intervention by the generous team who have restored vital safety signs and made the area a nicer place to live.
