Producer makes Motorfest Film available
Originally slated as a single closed doors screening to sponsors, the producers of ‘Motorfest – Bringing In The Crowds’ have announced that a limited number of films will also be made available to the public on DVD and Blu-ray, with proceeds being donated to charity.
‘We made a few films available to participants at Motorfest,’ said writer Vic Marelle, ‘but the crowd clearly enjoyed the day so it also seemed logical to make the film available generally. The added bonus is that we can raise more for charity.’
Professionally produced, the film opens in broadcast style with a presenter in an empty street posing the question ‘How can a little town like this put on such a big free family event?’ The film then goes behind the scenes with participants as they prepare their cars in the run up to the event, progressing naturally to the build-up on the day as cars arrive in the town centre and the park, capturing the atmosphere as the crowds arrive and, finally, full coverage of every one of the fantastic parades – even including a full circuit around the town shot from a bubble car!
Producer OMF is a not-for-profit initiative by professional film makers using broadcast equipment, raising funds for charity.
All proceeds from the Motorfest film are being donated to support the work of the Salvation Army in Southport.
Films can be ordered from the OMF web site at www.OldManFilm.com where for a limited time they are available at a discounted price.
‘The film is currently in post production prior to a release date in early October,’ said the writer, ‘and bulk disk duplication ensures discounted low cost films for those ordered in advance.’
