Primary school parents furious with parking problem

Furious parents at Churchtown Primary have split into angry factions over an ongoing parking issue.

Selfish parents who drive their children to school have been branded as ignorant after they continue to park across the width of the pavement, forcing parents and pupils who walk to school to walk in the main road with no other option.

One furious parent said “we are fed up of the parents that drive and their lack of thought. Children who walk to school are left having to walk on the road, which cars are driving down at speeds, because selfish parents have parked on pavements and in stupid places. My child nearly got ran over the other day, and the person in the car glared at us like it was us in the wrong. It’s ridiculous, something needs to be done!”
