Tributes have been paid to a famous Southport entertainer who has passed away as a result of complications due to Coronavirus
The famous Gary Melia has sadly passed away at Broadgreen Hospital after suffering a heart attack while being treated for Coronavirus.
His family and friends have paid tribute to a ‘loving and popular entertainer of the people.’
Gary was a well known figure in the region and was a popular face at the Wellington Pub in Southport.
He sadly leaves behind his partner Sue of 23 years and 11 children, one of whom is only 10 weeks old.
