Tapper’s Cafe on Union Street was featured on TV show on E4 last night Don’t Tell the Bride, a series in which grooms take responsibility for every aspect of their upcoming weddings.
The show last night was about a Liverpool couple Elle and Phil. Elle has her heart set on a classy wedding at Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building. But Phil plans a wedding to go down in history. Will his scheme turn out a wreck?
Elle and her bridesmaids were filmed in the local cafe when the bridesmaids were having crisis talks about their dreadful dresses that Phil picked and that they were refusing to wear.
Cafe owner Catherine welcomed the film crew. “It’s great when the tv companies approach us for filming, our team and our customers enjoy the action and we have more filming in the pipeline’’
The show was aired last night on E4 at 9pm and is available on catch up.
Tapper’s Cafe is situated on Union Street, Southport and is open Monday – Saturday 9am – 4pm.
