A motorist had a lucky escape when she over shot the pavement and knocked down an 8ft high wall, Wednesday 19 August 2015.
The lady driver got her foot stuck between foot stuck on the accelerator when parking at her Southport home.
Fortunately no one was seriously injured.
A local resident said:
“There was an almighty smash, I couldn’t actually believe what had happened. It’s a good job no one was walking on the pavement”
