Pontins staff prove you can’t ‘polish a turd’ say furious guests

A Stoke family checking into Pontins Ainsdale last night have gone viral after posting about their horrific experience online.

Jo Wade and her family had booked a half board stay through an internet hotelier to stay at the infamously terrible Pontins chalet site but then they arrived last night, a slew of issues found them taking to Facebook to vent their fury.

The brown icing on the cake ended with them finding human faeces left on the ceiling of their room.

That was after they checked into another room to find it was already occupied, been told they were only allowed breakfast from 9am and been made to stand in freezing rain for ten minutes to make a phone call to complain.

Jo said: “We think they were fake turds but it’s safe to say we are never coming back and we want everyone to know how awful they are.

“When we checked in we were told that our booking didn’t exist. We were asked to stand outside in the freezing rain to call Laterooms.com who confirmed it did exist only then to be told by the manager of Pontins that they had been mistaken and since found the room.

“We were sent to the room only to open it and find an old lady already in there – she thought someone was trying to break in! “We then went back to reception where they promised us an upgrade yet when we found our next room, there was sh*t on the ceiling!”
