Police warn of poachers on the prowl in Formby

A White Vauxhall Astra van reg VN53 KGZ with two males on board and lurcher type dogs have been involved in hare coursing.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle or it’s occupiers in the Altcar area on Thursday 24th September in Altcar.

The alleged poachers were also spotted on Sunday 27th Sept about 10am in Halsall and then again in Altcar.

the vehicle was believed to be in company with a Grey Mazda 5 door saloon reg: DE05 PPY.
