Police to conduct firearms training across North West on Monday

Lancashire Police have announced that a number of firearms officers will be conducting training across the North West today.

Officers will wear plain clothes but can be identified police caps.

Lancashire Police say: “The exercise is nothing to worry about and is simply part of their ongoing training.

“The training will start in Preston, but the officers involved could end up anywhere across the west and north of the county depending on traffic.”
