Police swoop on car in Southport town centre

Police officers have swooped on a car in Bold Street this morning, Friday 1 May 2020.

Officers from Merseyside Police executed a perfect stop and detain manoeuvre after tailing a vehicle through the town.

It’s understood the arrest was made after police identified the Male occupant of the car as a person of significant interest in an ongoing case.
