Police set up a roadside speed trap in New Cut Lane, Birkdale, Southport, at about 10.00am this morning (Wednesday 1 April 2015).

A speed camera sat on a trypod is catching speeding motorists heading out of Southport towards Halsall.

Drivers caught speeding will receive fines/points by post.
